The goal of this project was to develop an identity that will appeal to adult fitness enthusiasts through the use of a bold, modern, and strong design style. The brief for this project was to create a visual representation that effectively communicates the brand's focus on high-performance equipment and training, while also resonating with the target audience of adult fitness enthusiasts. Through the use of a bold and modern design approach, it is intended to effectively convey the brand's message and position it as a leader in the fitness industry.
The solution for this project was to utilize the club's name, "Boston Barbell," as inspiration for the brand's visual identity. This was achieved by incorporating a barbell element into the logo, paired with a custom wordmark. To further enhance the bold and modern aesthetic, a dark and brazen colour palette was selected. The combination of these design elements effectively communicates the brand's focus on high-performance equipment and training, while also aligning with the target audience of adult fitness enthusiasts.
